Microsoft has scheduled Windows 10 for release on July 29, 2015, and, in case you have not heard, there will be no Windows 11. Microsoft will add new features to the software by way of updates. For one year from its release date, Windows 10 will be free for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users. For other users, Windows Home 10 will cost $119 and Windows Pro 10 will cost $199.
To obtain your free copy, click on the icon that should appear on your taskbar. If no icon appears, click here to download the software from the Microsoft website. It can take one to two hours to download over a broadband connection.
